Teaching practice for the Montessori Diploma needs to be obtained in an approved Montessori classroom. Full-time or part-time classroom experience is acceptable and should normally be completed within two years of passing the examination.

Records of your observations and supervised Montessori classroom practice must be submitted on the forms available from our office, signed by the supervising teachers who must have an approved Montessori Teaching qualification.

If you have any doubt about the acceptability of any school or the qualifications of a supervising teacher, check with MWEI before commencing your classroom practice. When sufficient classroom experience has been accumulated, you may apply to graduate by sending the required records to our office.
