The accredited (by Training Accreditation Council) Diploma course is designed for Montessori teachers and is available for four different age groups:
0-3 years Birth to Three
3-6 years Early Childhood
6-9 years Lower Primary
9-12 years Upper Primary
Approximate study times for the various aspects of the Diploma course are 1810 hours.

The MWEI Diploma course by external study is designed for mature students, preferably at least twenty-one years of age before commencing. If you are younger, you may be permitted to enrol, but might be required to obtain extra experience with children before being granted the Diploma.
Applicants will need to provide evidence of satisfactory completion of 5 years secondary education (Year 12), or an equivalent plus evidence of an English Language assessment. If in doubt about the acceptability of your existing qualifications, or of your Language/Numeracy/Literacy skill levels, or if you do not meet the entry requirements, contact the office.
